Ventura— The Antique Adventures Car show braved the rain and held a small but enjoyable gathering on Sunday, November 24.
THE Group enjoyed hot coffee and tasty donuts, swapped stories about their rides, and made Thanksgiving and Christmas plans.
Pharoahs Car Club SoCal General Tom Berger brought his 2000 Ford F-150 Truck, left his classic 1937 Ford Slantback home, and said he had nothing special planned for Thanksgiving and planned to enjoy the day with some friends.
“My Ford is hiding in the garage,” he said. “I didn’t feel like cleaning it.”
He likes white-meat turkey.
“I got a free turkey after I spent $125,” he said.

Antique Adventures co-owner Chuck Ackerman looked forward to spending the Holiday with his son in San Francisco and Sister in Fairfield.
“I have a lock in the store for a tire on a Model A so someone wouldn’t steal your car,” he said. “It’s like a boot, and it even has a key.”
