Ventura—Book and Butler, both male, black and white tuxedo cats born about April 2025, so they are both about 9 months.
“They are biologically brothers, but best friends and bonded,” Jennifer said. “We are adopting them out as a bonded pair.”
Book and Butler came to Cassie’s Cats via Shannon’s Fosters, a rescue organization based in Simi Valley. The duo met in foster care. Butler was the last kitten in his litter, so he was introduced to Book so that he would not be alone. They became buddies and now seem inseparable.
“They love to chase each other, play together, snuggle, and groom each other,” she said. They’re very friendly kitties and, in time, will be wonderful companions for the person, couple, or family that adopts them. Butler loves to carry toys around in his mouth, and sometimes he tries to meow at us while he’s doing it. Both boys love to play with wand toys in the lounge and enjoy when visitors spend time with them.”
Because they are young and quite high-energy, Thompson hopes to place them in a more active home.
