Channel Islands— There was a great crowd at the Channel Islands Farmers’ Market on Sunday, January 25, as dog and cat owners flocked to see Yvette at Divine Health Human Grade Pet Food.
DOGS received plenty of treats, free samples as Yvette Balzano, the affable business founder, talked about her five-year journey of discovery to save her dog, Gaia. The pit bull has since bounced back to health, from previously suffering from a torn meniscus, bad hips, and other problems.

During her journey, she said dogs and cats have a similar feral digestive system.
