Ventura--The latest fundraiser at Cassie’s Cats and Kittens was a creative success, as crafters came out to support the Cat Lounge, visit with the Felines, and bring along a craft they’re working on.
THE event was full of fun as the Cats were Cats and got involved and played with the yarn and other activities that piqued their interest.
Cassie’s Cat and Kittens Founder and President Jennifer Thompson said people brought whatever crafts they were working on to the Cat Lounge.
“It could be knitting, crocheting, card making, or even if you have some letters you want to write to your family or some mending you want to work on,” she said. “Something you can work on quietly and meet some other people who love Cats who are also creative and have a nice afternoon together.”
Jennifer loves crafts and said she looked forward to the event.
“So I could sit down and crochet another Cat bed this afternoon,” she said. “I brought my own craft.”
She always looks for events that are Cat friendly and will bring people to the Lounge.
