Oxnard-- I’ve spent another week trying to figure out how to use technology to make my life easier, but failed miserably. took a car trip out of the area the other day, parked my car, and couldn’t find it when I finished my task. I asked my phone to give me walking directions to my car and ended up walking in circles for about 90 minutes. Of course, my oldest got a massive laugh about my latest unfortunate turn of events, but I don’t share his sentiment. Ultimately, it’s my fault, and I should have paid closer attention to where I parked.
I did have one thing I know nothing about happen this week as I bought one of those voice-activated devices for my house this week, and it actually synched itself to my phone without my help. I’m only using it to play music while I work out right now, but I’ll get better at using it.
I did have some Diabetes issues because of my technology misadventure because all the walking led to a low, then high, blood sugar problem. To explain, I get low and lose my ability to address the problem rationally, so I overeat…
