Frosted Thoughts

Oxnard-- I hope everyone enjoyed all the fun events across

Oxnard this past weekend. It was a busy weekend, for sure. Let's start with the Parade of Frights at Channel Islands Harbor and all the nicely decorated boats across the Harbor. Boat owners always put their best foot forward, and residents always appreciate the effort.

The fun didn’t stop there, as the Downtown Oxnard Improvement Association hosted its Haunt in the Park, featuring lots of kids in costume with buckets full of treats having a blast. I got plenty of great pictures, which is always fun.

It was a busy day for me as I had to squeeze these events in while I delivered the paper, and when I got home, I fell asleep quickly.

I woke up with a headache on Sunday morning, so I took some aspirin and kept going. I had more papers to deliver and had no intention of missing the Fall Festival at Plaza Park or the Trunk or Treat event at the Eagles. Both events were great, as Oxnard Rec always puts its best foot forward for the community, and The Eagles hosted a fun, interactive event full of candy.
