Oxnard-- So last week, I told everyone I get sick every fall, which is true, but I didn’t realize just how sick I was. This time, I caught pneumonia, which knocked me to the ground.
Firstly, I know I said I would update the web with stories, but that was before I went to the doctor, not my favorite place, and found out how sick I really was. I was knocked to the couch, away from the J-Train, so I didn’t get her sick and could not write. I am better than I was, and I’m expelling congestion by the ton.
I’m writing and will catch up for the next edition.
Now I’m loaded with antibiotics, hot tea, and chicken noodle soup, and slowly but surely, I’m feeling well enough to get back into the game.
Let me take a moment to thank everyone for all the get well wishes that people on the delivery route expressed to the J-Train while she delivered the paper this weekend. It means a lot to me, really.
