Frosted Thoughts

Oxnard-- I hope everyone is off to a great 2023 and all those New Year’s resolutions are still in place.

I’M doing things and taking little steps to make my life more streamlined. For example, I noticed that I spend a lot of time going out to refill water, so I bought a five-gallon water cooler. This will save a lot of trips to the water station since we’ll have 10 gallons in the house. It will also allow me to use the gallon jug container rather than reusing old water jugs that fall apart. I also bought some super glue and will attempt to fix the myriad of collectibles that Ziggy broke while he was busy being Destructo Cat.

I’m also going to add pickup locations for the paper. There are places I can go to make the Tri County Sentry more accessible. I’ll also change my diet to please my Doctor, and I will keep working out.

So I was doing my thing and delivering the paper on Friday, January 13, when I ran into a huge traffic jam on Oxnard Boulevard as they were fixing the road. This is a good thing; Measure E is working,…
