Oxnard--Did you ever have one of those days where things start going wrong the second the alarm clock goes off?
WELL, it happened to me last Monday starting at 4:30 a.m. when I woke up, having a reaction to all my hospital medication, which does have the warning that may unsettle your stomach.
I tried to have breakfast and gave that idea up after several bad experiences. I actually started feeling bad on Sunday, but it didn’t stop me until the next morning.
Of course, the J-Train volunteered to stay home from work and deliver the paper for me, and I pointed out to her that my being ill is not a reason to call out. I’m a big boy, I can deliver the paper, and it took me a while, but I finally got out the door.
Before I made it to the Post Office, I had warning lights flashing on my dashboard, saying that I have to two low tires. That meant a trip to the tire store, where I was told it was time to buy new tires. I made an appointment, and they filled my tires for me, which the Technician said would hold me…
