Oxnard-- I keep changing and getting older, and it amazes me how the older I get, the more I crave things to be neat and orderly. admit I wasn’t the neatest guy in town when I was younger. When I was a teenager, my mother bought me a sign that said, “Please Clean Up Your Room,” and my father hung it in my room.
I’m sure my Mother and Father are looking down at me and laughing at how I’ve changed. It happened in the past five years, and I can honestly say that I came home one night, looked at my house, and thought this is a mess.
It started slow; I organized the kitchen cabinets and thought, wow, look at how organized everything was and how much more accessible things were in the cabinets. There were things buried I forgot about, which saved me money on my next trip to the grocery store.
From there, I organized my clothes and discovered I could fit a lot more clothing in my dressers, and things weren’t wrinkled anymore. Then I steam cleaned the carpets and got them smelling fresh and clean. When the house is organized, I feel better.
