Frosted Thoughts

Oxnard-- We’re rolling into December, and, like usual, I’m left searching for holiday cheer and turning that into gifts people love.

LET’S start simple. Sorry, I had to make myself laugh. The J-Train is not the easiest person to buy for.

I covered a couple of craft fairs this weekend while she was working and bought her some earrings because I know she loves these events. I bought her some purple earrings, her favorite color, and earrings with cows on them, which she liked.

She’ll add them to her current collection, about 1,000, which is only surpassed by her bookmark collection and chapstick collection.

I’m thinking about buying a tree this year, which she loves to decorate, and she has never had the chance since she celebrates Chanukah, so she’ll love doing that.

Daisy and Buddy are easy. When we buy them something, they are always grateful. Daisy will sit by my feet and enjoy whatever she gets, while Buddy will carry his prize around while following his mommy and loving every minute of it, with his tail wagging and butt jiggling.

The kids are easier, I guess, since the Paramedic owns a home that needs lots of repairs,…
