Local Coastal Plan Workshop on Saturday

Ventura—During his Tuesday, August 25, report to the City Council, City Manager Bill Ayub said the Community Development Department encourages residents to join them from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Saturday, August 29, for a Local Coastal Plan Update.

“THIS event will be at the Museum of Ventura County and will be an open house event,” he said. “It will feature a presentation and virtual reality experience, and interactive stations where you can learn about Ventura’s Coastal Planning Efforts and share input. If you can’t make the event, visit the City’s website.”

He also encourages the public to join them at Rancho San Miguel Days.

“The free family event will be from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Olivas Adobe Historical Park, celebrating the rich history of our pioneers and indigenous people,” he said. “Visit our website for more information.”

The 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb will be held at 8 a.m. on Sunday, September 6. To register, visit www.cityofventura.ca.gov/HONORGUARD.
