Oxnard-- I’m living life, have eyes and ears, and although I don’t have a central theme this week, I have lots of things to touch upon.

I’m struggling with low blood sugar today, so I’ll clear my thoughts on the screen. Let’s start by driving past the new park under construction on K Street, which will be a great addition to the city.
Of course, my low blood sugar is directly related to eating less and balancing my insulin intake, as buying groceries has become a joke with reduced buying power thanks to inflation. I’ve lost about 50 pounds so far, which my doctor loves and almost fell over when he saw how low my blood pressure is.
You know, when I get hungry, I jump on the J-Train’s Pilate machine and power through my hunger pangs. My legs got pretty sore, and my doctor tried to convince me that I needed hundreds of dollars in tests because he was worried that my arteries were blocked. I explained why tests are unnecessary and won’t go through that story again, but he pretended I didn’t say anything. The truth is that I was fat, old, and out of…
