Male critically injured

Oxnard—On November 8, 2025, at approximately 9:50 PM, officers from the Oxnard Police Department and EMS personnel responded to multiple reports of shots heard and a shooting victim in the 400 block of W Hueneme Road in Oxnard.

OFFICERS arrived at the scene and located a 37-year-old male in a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound with life-threatening injuries. Officers provided im­me­diate medical care, and the victim was transported to a local hospital, where he is in critical condition.

Investigators from the Ox­nard Police Department Violent Crimes Unit assu­med responsibility for the investigation. The inves­tiga­tion is ongoing, and no further information is avai­lable at this time.
