Channel Islands—Channel Islands Harbor was the place to be Saturday, August 8, as Heartbreak Over Petty entertained a huge crowd of people all hitting the beat.
THE band hit all the classic Petty hits, and they rocked the Harbor with a capacity Crowd.
James Steward is happy to be back after a week away and said, “Moonlight over Petty is kicking some butt.”
“Tom Petty is up there with Bob Marley,” Steward said. “It’s great out here; there are good friends and good vibes. This is where God wants us to be.”

Wanda, the Cookie lady, was selling treats to the crowd.
“They call me Wanda, the cookie lady,” she said. “I’ve been cooking for one year, and before that, I didn’t cook anything.”
She was selling chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter cookies, along with muffins.
“If I get a request, I can make whatever,” she said. “To find my selection, you can find me on Instagram and Facebook.”
Leslie Rehak said the band is awesome.
“I’ve already been out there dancing,” she said.
Coleen said she’s having a fantastic time.
Sherry Anderson enjoyed the live music.
