Ventura-- The Board of Supervisors, Tuesday, July 12, approved updates to its administrative manual.
THE updates include updates for the Board of Supervisors and bring its actions current with the common practice.
Assistant County Executive Officer Mike Pettit presented the item. He told the Supervisors that the update removes a reference to the special form in rule 33, which has been superseded by the administrative policy updates in chapter 7C of the administrative manual.
“That policy has been reviewed by our Auditor/ Reporter in terms of expense reporting for travel expenses,” he said. “We’re also proposing to revise rule 33-14 regarding the correspondence agenda to reflect the Board’s current practice and the Clerk of the Board’s practice with correspondence and sharing that with your Board.”
He said the action also modifies rule 37 under the operating procedures to align it, and he noted that service awards are scheduled in the County’s Executive Office.
