Toter LLC Amendment approved

Oxnard-- The City Council, Tuesday, July 29, approved the first amendment to agreement A--8368 with Toter LLC to replenish curbside containers and their parts.

ASSISTANT Public Works Director Brian Yanez presented the item and said the amendment is for $775,000, and the new total will not exceed $1.525 million for an additional two years ending May 28, 2025.

“In order to provide unin­terrupted, weekly collection of refuse, recyclables, and green waste for approximately 17,000 residential customers, the City of Oxnard and the Environmental Resources Division must maintain a sufficient inventory of containers, lids, and parts,” he said.

On November 16, 2021, he said the Council approved Agreement A-8368 with Toter, LLC, to purchase the containers and parts.

“The Staff utilizes Oxnard’s membership in Sourcewell, a National Intergovernmental Purchasing Alliance, for new residential customer containers and parts through contract #04521-TOT,” Yanez said. “Toter LLC meets all contractual provisions, including a City Business Tax Certificate, insurance certificates, and corporate filing with the California Secretary of State.”
