Channel Islands-- The Channel Islands Harbor Concerts by the Sea series continued Saturday, July 16, with Unkle Monkey playing music from around the world, highlighted by pop, rock, jazz, funk favorites, and original compositions.
THE crowd delighted in the music as Unkle Money lead singer Steve Stafford opened the Tiki Lounge, and attendees danced the night away.
Gina Rae and her friend Julia had comfortable chairs, and they were ready to enjoy the evening.
“I am so excited to be listening to live music, hanging out at Channel Harbor, and being out with my friend,” Gina said. “It’s great stuff. I plan on coming to all of them.”
She’s excited to see Unkle Monkey for the first time.
“When you watch music, you can hear it better,” she said.
Outdoor music is Gina’s favorite part of summer, and she’s been known to get up and dance.
“I’m not from here, but it’s cool to come down here,” Julia said. “I love being near the ocean and hanging out at the Harbor,”
She said Gina invited her to come down from Santa Barbara and admitted she is a big concert fan.
