VFW Breakfast benefits auxiliary

Port Hueneme—I scream, you scream, we all scream for Breakfast. VFW Post 3935 held its monthly Breakfast on Sunday, December 14, and people lined up to enjoy some great food.

POST Commander Tom Fiela said the VFW Auxiliary is a big part of the Post.

“This is a way to do a fundraiser, and they do a great job”, he said. “You can’t beat $10, and everybody loves it. There’s a great crowd. It’s been like this for the last couple of hours.”

Proceeds from the Breakfast support the Auxiliary and some of its functions.

David Duske said Breakfast at the VFW is always good, and his wife, Peggy, is getting ready for a Ladies’ function at the Oxnard Eagles.

“They are having a luncheon, he said.

John Frederick brought his whole entourage to enjoy Breakfast.

“They have a wonderful breakfast, and it’s well worth the money,” he said.

 

His wife, Debbie, is a lifetime member of the Post and was joined by his niece, Elaina, and friend, Sandy.
