Oxnard-- The budgeting software acquisition and implementation story continues with Chief Financial Officer Javier Chagoyen-Lazaro saying the City’s sixth criterion refers to the vendor who could offer faster implementation.
The Finance & Governance Committee unanimously approved the acquisition and implementation of budgeting software on Tuesday, September 26, with the City Council approving it on Tuesday, October 3.
“The staff compared the different vendor proposals, and only two of the three vendors that provided demonstrations, ClearGov and OpenGov, provided a cost proposal,” he said. “OpenGov met all the criteria, and its proposal is recommended.”
OpenGov has a $62,775 onetime implementation fee, including training, travel, and contingencies, he said, and the license fee will cost $87,280 in fiscal year 24, $146,347 …
