Oxnard-- The City Council voted unanimously Tuesday, December 20, to authorize Mayor John Zaragoza to appoint board members to committees to replace former Councilwoman Vianey Lopez, who was appointed to the Ventura County Board of Supervisors.
THE action places a primary member on the Beach Erosion Authority for Control of Operations & Nourishment, an alternate on the Clean Power Alliance Board of Directors, a primary member of the Economic Development Collaborative, a primary member of the Regional Defense Partnership for the 21st Century, and one alternate to the Ventura County Regional Energy Alliance.
Moving forward into 2023, Mayor John Zaragoza will be an alternate and Mayor Pro Tem Bryan MacDonald will serve on the Association of Water Agencies for Ventura County, Councilman Gabe Teran and Councilman Oscar Madrigal will be the alternate on the Beach Erosion Authority for Control of Operations & Nourishment, Councilman Bert Perello will serve on the Clean Power Alliance Board of Directors and Teran, and Kathleen Mallory will be alternates, MacDonald will serve on the Economic Development Collaborative-Ventura County.
