Ventura-- The Board of Supervisors Tuesday, January 24, approved the site plan adjustment Case PL17-0084 authorizing repair and maintenance activities at 8120 Puesto Del Sol in the unincorporated Rincon Point Area.
The Supervisors also deemed the project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); Supervisorial District No. 1.
Board Chair Matt LaVere said he examined all the photos taken during the site visit and presented evidence and said it’s clear the driveway and fence need to be replaced.
“They’ve complied with what the County requires them under our current ordinance,” he said. “The trees are iconic, and there is a plan in place to make sure they stay that way.”
Jeffrey Barnes said the item was a DeNovo public hearing for the Board to consider an application for a site plan adjustment for an existing land use development in the Coastal Zone at Rincon Point.
“It’s an appeal that started off at the Planning Director’s level,” he said. “The Planning Director approved the site plan adjustment.”
He said it was appealed to the Planning Commission, which was appealed to the Board of Supervisors.
