Oxnard-- The Finance and Governance Committee, Tuesday, December 28, approved the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Annual Report and second amendment to the Kreative Core contract.
The second amendment is for $700,000, will not exceed $900,000, and extends the agreement from September 30, 2022, until February 1, 2023, for contract project management services related to the Core Financials and Human Capital Management phases of the ERP implementation.
The ERP system provides the framework for Timekeeping, Human Resources, Payroll, Budgeting, Financial Reporting, Grant and Capital Management, Community Development, Utility Billing, and Asset Management.
Deputy City Manager Shiri Klima presented the item and said the ERP is the system that implements and communicates with each other.
“All of these different disparate systems throughout the city that through an ERP system are able to communicate with each other,” she said. “They are all working with the same data. There aren’t different data entry points. There’s also a higher incidence of accuracy and higher incidents of data being used correctly across different departments and being used correctly across different functions.”
