Oxnard--The Public Works and Transportation Committee, Tuesday, March 14, approved the Trade Services Agreement with Executive Services Incorporated.
THE agreement will provide maintenance services at Blending Stations 3, 4, and 5, the Wastewater Treatment Plant, Advanced Water Purification Facility (AWPF), and Del Norte Regional Recycling and Transfer Station.
Assistant Public Works Director Joseph Marcinko presented the item and said the agreement is for one year, with the option to extend for two consecutive periods of one year each with a maximum possible contract term of three years. The contract amount will not exceed $700,000.
“The City has seven facilities for a total of 66,000 square feet, and custodial services have been contracted out for the past 18 years,” he said. “The contractor delivers a full complement of service and all cleaning supplies and provisions.”
On December 28, 2022, he said the City requested a formal Request for Bid (RFB) for custodial services at the Utility Facilities.
“On January 19, 2023, the RFB closed, and two Requests for Bid were deemed responsive,” he said. “Executive Facility Services Incorporated was determined to be the lowest responsible bidder.”
