Channel Islands—The Fourth Annual Channel Islands Harbor Father’s Day Car Show was a loving tribute to Dad, as families gathered from the park to Channel Islands Maritime Museum to enjoy the cars.
THERE was classic rock, along with a sea of Food Trucks to keep everyone’s stomachs full.
Food Share of Ventura County’s Chief Development Officer, Jennifer Caldwell, is proud to be part of the Fourth Annual Father’s Day Car Show, where people donated cash to ensure no one goes hungry.
“We’re out here at beautiful Channel Islands Harbor, and we have over 250 cars and 30 vendor booths,” she said. “All the funds we raise here today will go back to Food Share to buy food.”
She found Food Share 10 years ago, and she fell in love with the mission, community, and everything it stands for.
“A single Mom raised me, so I understand how hard it can be putting food on the table,” she said. “The fact that I get to do this job every day makes it easier for other single Moms, Seniors, Community Members, and the Community.
