Center, Thursday, October 20, as the 1st Annual Halloween
Spook-Tacular brought out a huge crowd ready to celebrate the season. The event featured a Pumpkin Patch, a Maze, Train Ride, Face Painting, and lots more, as kids and parents enjoyed the evening in full costume.
Recreation Coordinator Taylor Penny said they were trying to think of a good name for the event, and Spook-Tacular sounded better than calling it a Halloween Party.
“It’s not very scary, but it’s fun, and you’ll start to see everything light up as it gets darker,” she said. “We had two sponsors, Premiere America Bank and HPC, donate as well and make everything here possible today.”
She got into the spirit and sported her Minnie Mouse ears to Spook-Tacular.
“We have a lot of cool kid and adult costumes,” she said. “We have popcorn, a photo booth, face painting, hair painting, a hay maze, and a train ride.”
