Ventura—Halloween Weekend at Antique Adventures wasn’t scary at all, just cool cars, fast cars, great friends, friendly conversation, perhaps donuts, coffee, and classic finds inside the store everywhere.
WALK up to someone with your hand out, and Antique Adventures Owner Chuck Ackerman, his wife Nerriel, and the whole gang welcome new friends.
Vendors also packed the shelves with the coolest things.
Tom Bergeron from the Pharaohs Car Club said he could eat all the candy he wanted.
“I don’t have a wife,” he said with a chuckle. “I don’t eat much candy, but I eat a lot of donuts.”
Tom said he’s been the General of the Pharaohs Car Club for several years.
“We have a car show coming up in January,” he said. “I don’t really do Christmas.”
