Harbor Christmas: A holiday treat

Channel Islands Harbor - Channel Islands Harbor was loaded with fun seekers on Saturday, Dec 14, as the Harbor’s Christmas added to the Holiday fun.

KIDS reveled in bouncy houses and slides and got some critical information while filling up on great food trucks full of treats and visited Santa Claus.

The day culminated with the 58th Annual Parade of Lights as more than 60 vessels took to the water.

This year’s theme, “Sleigh Bells & Spurs: A Rockin’ Rodeo Boat Parade,” and the winning vessel, entered by Channel Islands Yacht Club, captured the spirit.

Rosio, with her son Noah, visited Santa, and Rosio said it was his first trip to visit Santa.

“I’m pretty sure he was a little nervous,” Rosio said. “Noah probably won’t get everything he wants this Christmas. I don’t know what he actually wants.”

Rosio wants to enjoy Christmas with her family.

 

“I want tamales for Christmas dinner,” she said. “Noah and I are excited about the Parade of Lights tonight.”
