Channel Islands-- The Concerts by the Sea series completed its 2022 season Saturday, September 3, with a performance by Ignition that one concertgoer described with the word “Wow.”
IGNITION rocked The Harbor with hits from the Eagles, the Doobie Brothers, Bad Company, John Waite, Van Halen, and many more. The weather was hot, but the band’s performance raised the temperature even more, leaving attendees wanting more.
Concert goers started dancing at song one to celebrate a great season of shows at The Harbor.
After the concert, lead singer Alex Cabrera said that Ignition has been playing together and rocking for 12 years.
“We’ve got about 140 songs, and we play all over the county,” he said. “There are too many bands that play a lot of the current stuff. I like to watch local bands play, and a lot of them play the same songs. They don’t play the songs we play, so we like that.”
He said Ignition’s main goal is the crowd and getting people up and dancing.
