Oxnard—The Finance and Governance Committee, Tuesday, June 10, approved the first amendment with InfoSend for Business Tax Form printing, inserting, and mailing services.
The billing and licensing division mails approximately 45,000 customer utility bills, 2,000 tax bills, and 1,000 business tax certificates each month.
Assistant Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer Jialan Su said the agreement extends the term of the existing contract to June 2027 and increases the contract by $971,000 for a total contract amount not to exceed $1.968 million.
“The current contract was awarded to InfoSend in June 2022, and an RFP (Request for Proposals) was conducted and expires June 30, 2025,” Su said.
She said InfoSend is one of the largest printing facilities in California, serves many Governments across the nation, and has provided exceptional service to the City since 2012.
“InfoSend maintains a high level of data security,” she said. The USPS (United States Postal Service) assigned a detached mail unit inside InfoSend, meaning faster delivery for the City’s mail and qualifies for a postage discount.”
She said InfoSend processes the City’s mail at the lowest USPS postage rate and passes through the actual postage to the City, including the discount.
