Channel Islands-- Channel Islands Harbor kicked off its holiday season Saturday, December 10, with the 56th annual holiday Parade of Lights in grand fashion.
THE “Let ItbGlow” theme encouraged boaters to decorate their vessels brightly with a holiday twist. More than 60 Boaters put their best foot forward, the Harbor reported, and the enthusiastic crowd lined the shore, cheered the Boats, and looked forward to the Holiday.
“We came because we saw this online, and my kids have never seen this, “Luis said. “I brought them so they can see.”
He likes all the decorated Boats.
“My oldest, Zane, is going to be three on the 18th of this month, and my younger one, Dylan, is going to be two on February 21,” he said.
He’s ready for Christmas but said his wife is in charge of buying presents.
“It’s easy, and I already know their characters and what they like,” Mom Aurora said. “I’m looking at T-Rex and cars. That goes along with his older brother.”

“I love enjoying each other and making memories for the kids,” Aurora added. “We’re most likely having Tamales and Posoles.”
