Spring Boutique celebrates daylight savings

Ventura—The Ventura Moose Lodge celebrated springing forward Sunday, March 8, with its Spring Boutique.

THE Lodge was filled with treasures for everybody, even those with a little raucous sense of humor. There was a 50/50 raffle that had people excited, healthy items were for sale, a little food, and tables of jewelry and clothing.

Vrinda Mishre manned the Ninja Kids table, and she said her family inspired her to make her creation.

“We’ve created a blend of eight organic super seeds, which includes Pumpkin, Sunflower, Hemp seed, Chia seed, Flax seeds, Quinoa, and Grape seeds,” she said. “One scoop of this blend has all eight seeds, and you can put it in anything you’re eating, whether it’s pancakes, pasta sauce, smoothies, or curry. One scoop gives you the goodness of the eight super seeds.”

Regardless of what you’re adding it to, she said, it doesn’t change the taste of your meal.

 

“It took me a year to get the recipe together, along with the right composition,” she said. “It makes sense, and it’s easy to understand.”
