Ventura—In his Tuesday, July 8 report to the city council, City Manager Bill Ayub said the city will start repaving Telegraph Road between Ashwood and Hill Road at the end of July.
“This project will resurface approximately 690,000 ft.² of roadway and will continue through January 2026,” he said. “This work will. generally occur between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, with potential work between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. near schools and high traffic areas.”
He encourages visitors to take the Surfers Point Artwork Survey, available on Sunday, July 27. The phase two project will include titled artwork along the sea wall.
“We’re seeking resident feedback on the final artistic direction, before we launch a call to artists,” he said.
